Part 2 - ...Camera, action!
Here's the phone mount for the Photo Studio, this one with a mount sized for an iPhone 6 and 6S Plus (because that's the one I have, so it's the only one I have the measurements for). The mount stays static, the rotator mount fits on top of it and then the pitch mount snaps into the rotator mount. I've made the phone holder separate so it needs to be glued on, but I've designed it that way so I can, in the future, design mounts for other types of phone if someone needs a different mounting. The whole phone mount will rotate; put your hand through the hole in the mounting block and turn the assembly using the handle to pitch and rotate the phone into whatever position you need it in. I know this could be a bit of a Heath Robinson way of doing things, but with a freestanding phone mount and lights all you need is a A0 sized sheet of while card for a backing diorama and you're all ready to take decent product shots with your iPhone!
