3D Printed R/C DARK STAR-MAVERICK

= Introduction=

DARK STAR is the hypersonic aircraft appears at the beginning of 'TOPGUN-MAVERICK', the sequel to the movie 'TOPGUN' in 35 years.

Inspired by the SR-72, supposedly being build by LOCKHEED MARTIN, which doesn't actually exist, and in the movie, it's destroyed after Maverick breaks Mach 10.

This is a scaled-down replica of the R/C version of DARK STAR featured in the movie.

= Description =

Since this does not actually exist, there is no exact information, and referred to the pictures of the Mock-Up for movie and some data of the design process.

Efforts are being made to find the most suitable control method and CG through actual design, printing, building and flight trials, and it is considered that flying is quite difficult even for experienced pilots. Therefore, I do not guarantee perfect or smooth flight of this.

If you understand this and have confidence to make it fly nonetheless, then give it a try.

If it's not intended for flying, this would definitely make a great 'Shelf Queen' for decorative displays.

Bungee hooks are provided for pilots who want to use the Bungee Launcher, but it's experimental and haven't been tested in practice.
