PLA: Canopy and a front part of the fuselage showing the nice external structure with its louvers and the practical internal structure with extra compartment for the battery.
LW-PLA: Modified horizontal stabilizer design for weight reduction.
The ZIP file includes four STL files, two common Cura project files including all slicer settings, and hereof generated gcode (created for Prusa i3 MK3S). All important Cura slicer settings are also described in detail in the user guide linked below.
Version 2.2 of the Howard DGA-5 "IKE" allows to (optionally) insert a carbon fiber pipe into the wing as extra robustness margin for cutting flight maneuvers. Some parts of the landing gear are reinforced as well and slightly increased louver openings in the fuselage further improve the scale impression. Last but not least, the engine side pull was increased to improve the take-off behavior.
